Thomson Advantage Books: The Piano Advantage: Concise Introduction for Beginners (with CD-ROM)
Brief, inviting, inexpensive, and written by a brand-name author, this new book provides an introduction to piano for the adult beginner. Its length, price, and approach make it less intimidating and more accessible to students because no background in music is assumed ? just a genuine interest in learning to play the piano. The book is organized in ten units with reviews at the end of each unit that allow students to check their progress. Answer Keys to the end-of-unit reviews are provided in Appendix E. This step-by-step text includes nearly double the music of the competition, including a section titled "Extending the Challenge," which offers 14 additional pieces for the student to explore. Nearly all of the musical selections in the text are included on the free practice CD, and many have been recorded at both a practice and performance tempo.

Student unionism in Australia - All major Australian universities have one or more student organisations, known variously as student associations, student guilds, student unions, or student representative councils. These student-run bodies provide many services, typically including refectories and bookshops, student media and publications, academic rights advocacy, support for a variety of social, arts, political, recreational, special interest and sporting clubs and societies, and political advocacy for issues concerning students.

Nittwits - The Nittwits are the student supporters of the Pennsylvania State University's NCAA men's basketball team. From their courtside location on the event level of sections 120-125 at the Bryce Jordan Center, the Nittwits provide the Nittany Lions a home-court advantage rivaling that of any in the Big Ten Conference.

Progressive Student Network - The Progressive Student Network (PSN) was a national, multi-issue, progressive college student activist organization in the United States. It was founded at a conference in 1980 as a merger of the remnants of the Revolutionary Student Brigade, the Midwest Coalition against Registration and the Draft (Mid-CARD), and the Student Coalition Against Nukes Nationwide (SCANN).

Association of Student Radio Alumni - The Association of Student Radio, ASRA, is a UK voluntary body set up as an organisation that unites people who have been involved in student radio. Part social club part industry organistation, ASRA's main role is to organise events that can act as student radio station reunions and to give advice to anyone that wants to build up their own student radio alumni association.
